Orientation on Inclusive and Accessible Reproductive and Health Services for Women with Disabilities

Pahichan Nepal, successfully oriented women with disability on inclusive and accessible reproductive health services for women with disabilities, on a two-day interactive program held in Tulsipur, Dang from May 14-16, 2025. The orientation was catered to 30 participant women with disabilities, who eagerly showed their participation with full vigor. The interactive participatory session involved curious and interesting questions that arose from the participants regarding their sexual and reproductive health. The questions addressed by the local health service providers who facilitated Pahichan to successfully orient the
program.
The program was conducted in collaboration with Tulsipur Municipality of Dang, where the municipality representatives were present throughout the sessions to share and learn about the sexual and reproductive health issues faced by women with disabilities in local context. The orientation aimed on educating the women with disability from Tulsipur regarding the need for
inclusive and accessible reproductive and health services for women with disabilities.
