Educational material distribution

On 12^{th of April, 2019, Pahichan has} distributed educational materials and fourteen hundred cash to Pooja Gurung, a daughter of single blind women, Chunumaya Gurung of Illam.

Chunumaya is rape  victim. 15 years back, she was raped by neighbor and gave birth to Puja. Till today, she has not got justice neither access on women rights and legal procedure. Both of them are physically  and mentally abuse by family and neighbors.  They are living in small cottage without any facility. But that is also temporary shelter. Chunumaya is worried for not having income source in such situation, if they  are kick out from the shelter then they have to come in in street. Now her daughter Puja is studying in grade 6 at the age of 14 in Sri Parbat secondary school, Ilam. Further we have planned to support to have sustainable livelihood. And also for her justice. On behalf of Pahichan team we end our trip to eastern Nepal by collecting the information about the situation of single women with disability of various districts.
